This piece transports us directly to the days before Christmas, a time when we are preparing our homes for a season in the company of our loved ones. A time when we embellish our Christmas tree and wait till the children are in bed before surrounding it with gifts to surprise both children and adults alike.

A charming domestic scene with the two little pets snooping and playing with all those strange ornaments with lively forms and colors, while the family, probably sitting around the table, is unaware of what is happening at the foot of their Christmas tree.
